This fun activity weekend is being held in association with the Scottish Kennel Club (SKC) and is perfect for members who wish to spend the weekend having fun with their dogs and fellow members.

  • This fun activity weekend is being held in association with the Scottish Kennel Club (SKC) and is perfect for members who wish to spend the weekend having fun with their dogs and fellow members. 

  • A full programme will be created for each member, with training in agility, handling, heelwork to music, and obedience, and we ask that you get involved in all activities over the whole weekend.  As well as the training, there will also be fun social activities for members to take part in during the day and evening.

  • The cost for camping, training and social activities is £160 per member.  Sibling cost is £120 per member.  

  • For this event, day places are not available.  

  • Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis. 

  • If the member is under 18 years of age then one accompanying parent/guardian must also attend at no charge. 

  • The YKC Member must be a fully paid-up member throughout the duration of the event 

Programme:

Dog training: 

  • Agility 

  • Handling 

  • Heelwork to Music (HTM) 

  • Obedience 

  • This is a training event and will be held outside on grass. Please make sure you’re comfortable and wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

  • Agility: Minimum Dog age 12 Months 

  • Handling/Obedience/HTM: Minimum Dog age 6 Months

Social Programme: 

The weekend will feature a social programme during the evening and non-dog activities during the day so that dogs can have some time to rest. Fun team games and arts and crafts.

Site Facilities:

Camping 

  • You will also require a tent or caravan to camp onsite 

  • The venue features plenty of space to camp 

  • Electric hook up is not available on site 

  • Camping is included in the booking price 

  • Permanent toilet and shower block 

  • Fresh water taps 

  • Chemical disposal point 

  • We do have access to the main auction hall from Friday afternoon until Saturday at 6pm so the electric points within there can be used during those times 

  • Access will be granted on site from Friday morning and must be vacated by Sunday afternoon
