Return and Refund Policy

1. The Kennel Club Return and Exchange Policy

We want you to have total confidence in all of your dealings with us and we are committed to giving you the best possible products, prices and service. This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

1.1. Faulty or Damaged Products

Should any product purchased from us be found to be faulty on receipt, damaged in transit, or differ from the description given in our literature or on our website, you have the right to, and we will be pleased to arrange, either a full refund of the product price, or a replacement of the product at your discretion.

All returns involving faulty or damaged goods must be notified to us within 30 days of delivery.

1.2. Returns for Other Reasons

If you have purchased an item mistakenly or wish to return your order for any other reason, through no fault of The Kennel Club, we will be happy to replace or refund the item provided that the original item is returned to us unused/unworn, in its original packaging (with labels attached where applicable) and in saleable condition.

Returns for any other reason must be notified to us within 14 days of delivery. You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s) to us.

In cases where the customer has mistakenly purchased a product or a similar reason, the return shipping must be arranged at the customer’s own expense. If the customer is either unable or unwilling to arrange return shipping, we reserve the right to charge an uplift fee to cover the cost of arranging shipping from the customer. In cases where an entire order is returned, we reserve the right to retain the cost of the outward shipping in addition to the above.

1.3. Exchanges

We can only exchange for a different product of the same price as the original item.

Please note, returning items for exchange will be made at the customer’s own expense.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

1.4. Receipt of Incorrect Items

We do our best to ensure your products are correct. However sometimes mistakes happen, albeit rarely. If you receive the wrong items accidentally or a mistake is made on your order, please inform us immediately and we'll do our best to get the correct items sent to you as soon as possible, free of charge.

1.5. Return Information

We cannot accept responsibility for items damaged or lost in return transit, and therefore recommend using a recorded delivery method for any items intended for return. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

1.6. Timescale

Returns are processed within 14 working days of us receiving the goods back. It may take longer to process your return at Christmas or bank holidays.

1.7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 working days.

1.8. Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact The Kennel Club department you arranged your refund with.
