Neville, a Leonberger from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and his owner Lee Studholme won the Working Group title at Crufts 2024 today (Saturday 9 March), qualifying them for one of just seven places in the Best in Show final on Sunday evening.

Neville (Ch Corleone Navigator at Kalizmar), aged three, co-owned by Lee Studholme and Kerry Rushby, will return to the Resorts World Arena at the NEC Birmingham on Sunday, along with six other dogs to compete for the coveted Best in Show title at Crufts.

People around Britain and the world will be watching to see which dog is crowned Best in Show on Sunday, as the final is shown live on Channel 4 and available to be streamed on the official Crufts YouTube Channel.

Over 19,000 dogs are competing over four days for one of just seven places in the Crufts final and a chance to win the most celebrated title in the world of dogs.

Proud co-owner Lee said: “I am gobsmacked and shocked! Neville is my goofball! He never lets me down – he’s a good lad. We have foster children so he is the big teddy bear for them.”

Delighted co-owner Kerry said: “Neville is absolutely fantastic! He has had an incredible career – I was a nervous wreck but it’s an absolute dream come true!”

Helen Kerfoot, Crufts Show Manager, said: “Many congratulations to Neville and Lee on winning the Working Group title today and earning their Best in Show place for Crufts 2024.

“Crufts celebrates happy, healthy dogs, and the special relationship between dogs and their owners. This was evident today, as Lee and Neville demonstrated a wonderful bond in the ring.”
