Skinner's renews sponsorship across Kennel Club events

The Kennel Club is pleased to announce that Skinner’s will be continuing to support a number of key Kennel Club field trial and agility events until March 2025, following the renewal of their sponsorship.

Commencing with The Kennel Club Gundog Working Test, which took place from Wednesday 15 June to Sunday 19 June 2022, Skinner’s is remaining as an exclusive dog food sponsor across many Kennel Club field trial events, which are among the highlights of the working gundog calendar, including the Cocker Spaniel Championship, the Hunt Point and Retrieve Championship and the Any Variety Spaniel (Except Spaniel [Cocker]) Championship.

Furthermore, Skinner’s will also remain as exclusive dog food sponsors of various Kennel Club events, with the exception of Crufts, which they will continue to support. These events include The Kennel Club International Agility Festival, the world’s largest agility festival for dogs and their owners, and The Kennel Club Agility Stakes, held as part of The London International Horse Show at ExCeL London.

Vanessa McAlpine, Events Executive at The Kennel Club, said: “We are delighted that Skinner’s will continue to offer support across our field trials and agility events. Both Skinner’s and The Kennel Club recognise the importance of happy and healthy dogs competing to the best of their abilities, whether that is in the agility ring or out in the field, and we are looking forward to both this renewed partnership, as well as the events themselves, which will see both working gundogs and agility competitors at the top of their game.”

Hiedi Hutchinson, Marketing Director at Skinner’s, said: “We are thrilled to continue to be involved with The Kennel Club across an exciting few years of agility and field trial events. Skinner’s has a proud heritage of supporting clubs, tests, trials and championships, as well as a long-standing commitment to the gundog community and we are looking forward to supporting this year’s events, and many more in the future.”
