Kennel Club Forum 2019

The Kennel Club is pleased to announce details of its Kennel Club Forum 2019, which is open to all.

The forum will be held on Wednesday 3 July at the Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh, Warwickshire CV8 2LZ.

An outline for the day will be as follows:

9.30am           Registrations

10.00am         Introduction

10.15am         Kennel Club update

10.30am         Working groups to discuss:

  • Registration of non-standard colours
  • Registration of crossbreeds
  • DNA profiling of breeding dogs
  • Encouraging youth involvement
  • Dog training
  • Communication in the modern world

12.30pm         Lunch

1.30pm           Feedback/presentations by Working Groups

3.30pm         Close

These are all subjects of interest to the world of dogs.  The objective of the forum is to gain views and suggestions from those attending to inform the Kennel Club’s decisions to the future.

The event is free of charge but places must be booked in advance by Tuesday 25 June. Please be advised that it is an open forum for all interested; however, Kennel Club Members will be given priority. Email Shirley Gregg to reserve a place or phone 020 7518 1029.  

If you plan to travel by train, there are three railway stations nearby:

  • Coventry Station
  • Warwick Parkway Station
  • Leamington Spa Station

These stations are all around a 15-minute taxi drive to the Stoneleigh building.
