How to create an account?

1. Go to the right-hand corner and click 'login'



2. Click 'sign up now'

 
3. Enter your email address

4. Click 'send verification code'

5. Look in your inbox for a six-digit code

6. Click 'verify code'

7. Choose a password

 

8. Enter your details for your account

 

9. Sign up to preferences

 
10. Go to your account

Address update

To change your address, follow the steps below:

Cannot login to account
Since September 2020 we have been asking all of our existing customers to create a new account. If you haven't already done so, please create an account using the same email address you used previously. You will need access to your email as part of the security checks. 

To create an account follow the steps below:

1. Go to the right-hand corner and click 'login'

3. Enter your email address

4. Click 'send verification code'

5. Look in your inbox for a six-digit code

6. Click 'verify code'

7. Choose a password

 

8. Enter your details for your account

 

9. Sign up to preferences

 
10. Go to your account

Change email address
If you have changed your email address and need to update it on your account. You will need to create a new account. Once you have created a new account, login, go to the dashboard, and complete the missing information form. We will then add them back to your account within 7 working days.
Change name
If your name has changed due to marriage or deed poll and you would like it updated on your dog's records, please complete our change of name form.
Change password

1. Go to the right-hand corner and click 'login'

 
2. On the left-hand navigation, go down to 'update password'

 
3. Enter your email address

 
4. Confirm the verification code

 

5. Enter a new password

 

6. Your password will be updated

Change telephone number

To change your telephone number, please follow the steps below:

Close account
We are sorry you want to close your account with us. Please complete our closing account form. A member of the team will be in contact within 28 working days to confirm the account closure.

Please note that a request to close an account will result in the online account being closed, but your details will be retained on the database for the dogs in your registered ownership as necessary for us to maintain and administer its Kennel Club registration database.

If you would like to make a request for full erasure of your data under the data protection legislation, please contact our Data Protection team. Please see section four of our Privacy Policy for further information.

Please note that the canine data remains integral to Kennel Club registration records, including pedigree, ancestry and canine health information. It is required for us to maintain and administer its Kennel Club registration database. Such data, therefore, remains necessary for the purposes it was collected and processed.
Error message
If you are receiving an error message on our website and this repeatedly happens, you can notify us on our website error page.

Missing information
If you have created an account with the same email address you have used with The Kennel Club previously and believe there is information missing from your account such as your registered dogs, then we may just need to clean up some of your data first. The quickest way to get help is to login to your account and complete the missing information form.

Please note:
It can take up to 10 days for us to look into your missing information form. Please do not contact us during this time as we will work through these in date order.
Payment problems
If you are experiencing problems with payments, please notify us on our payment problems page.
Unlock my account
To protect your personal data, your account has been locked for security reasons. We will be in contact with you shortly.
