1.1 The Kennel Club Educational Trust is committed to protecting the personal information and respecting the privacy of grant applicants, Club Secretaries and the respective Trustees of the KCET.
1.2 This Privacy Notice, together with any other documents referred to in it, sets out the basis on which any personal data will be processed.
1.3 The Kennel Club Educational Trust was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee on 26th April 2007. For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation [Regulation (EU) 2016/679], the Data Controller is The Kennel Club Educational Trust (company number 06228200 and charity number 1121454), whose registered office is 10 Clarges Street, Piccadilly, London W1J 8AB.

The Particulars of Processing for the respective Kennel Club Educational Trust Trustees, donors and club secretaries are set out in the Schedules to this Privacy Notice.

It may be the case that you have contact in more than one capacity, so please read this notice and then look at all the relevant schedules that may apply to you if you wish to know more about how we process your personal data, including the purposes and legal basis. Request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask that the processing of personal information be suspended, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it.

4.2 The Kennel Club Educational Trust will generally process personal data for contractual Page 3 of 7 necessity, legal obligation or its legitimate interests. The Kennel Club Educational Trust will use personal information for additional relevant purposes where you might reasonable expect, and where the benefits of doing so are not outweighed by your own interests or fundamental rights or freedoms. 5. Recipients of data
5.1

The Kennel Club Limited provides administrative services including data processing on behalf of the Kennel Club Educational Trust. Personal data is transferred to the Kennel Club Limited for further processing in accordance with the purpose(s) for which the data were originally collected or may otherwise be lawfully processed. Personal data is only disclosed to third parties for a limited number of reasons, these include: charity administration, communications, data management, technical support, and processing payments.

The Kennel Club Limited has contracted with us as a Data Processor under the requirements in the GDPR. It is contractually bound to only use personal data for the agreed purpose(s). Relevant persons working for the Kennel Club Limited will have access to personal data but only to the extent necessary to perform their services for us.

5.3

The Kennel Club Limited agrees to implement reasonable contractual and technical protections, to keep personal data confidential, not sell personal data to third parties and to not disclose personal data to third parties except as may be required by law, as permitted by the KCET Trustees or as stated in this Privacy Policy.

In appropriate circumstances we may disclose data to authorised bodies as required by law.

Schedule 2 - The Kennel Club Educational Trust Building at Stoneleigh

This Schedule sets out the processing of personal data in relation to services and facilities at the Kennel Club Charitable Trust Building at Stoneleigh.

Personal data may be received direct from those requesting services and facilities at Stoneleigh. The provision of personal data is a necessary for the Kennel Club Educational Trust to facilitate its services at Stoneleigh in order to manage bookings. If personal data is not provided, the KCET will be unable to facilitate bookings at The Kennel Club Building.

Why do we process your personal data and what is the lawful basis?

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

This Schedule sets out the processing of personal data relating to Kennel Club Educational Trust Grant Applicants.

Where do we obtain your personal data from?

Personal data is received direct from grant applicants, the data subject.

The provision of personal data is a necessary requirement for the Kennel Club Educational Trust to administer grant applications received.

Grant applicants are not obliged to provide personal data. However, if personal data is not provided, The Kennel Club Educational Trust will be unable to provide funding services, as it will be unable to meet the statutory requirements to record this data.
