The Kennel Club is pleased to announce that, with effect from 2026, Jack Russell Terrier, Kooikerhondje, and Lagotto Romagnolo will see their allocation of Challenge Certificates (CCs) extended from three to seven sets.
This decision follows the breeds’ successful progress at introductory level and their meeting of the required criteria, including:

An average of at least 15 exhibits entered annually over a three-year period at All-Breed Championship and relevant group shows

A minimum of 28 judges registered at JEP Level 4

Positive review of health, breeding lines, conformation, and judges’ education, together with consideration of the number of dogs awarded CCs and champion titles
In line with the commitments made in 2021 regarding future allocations, the seven sets of CCs will be distributed as follows:
