The Kennel Club has announced that the Russian Toy will transfer from the Imported Breed Register to the Breed Register with effect from 1 April 2025.
The breed was recognised by The Kennel Club in 2017 and classified in the Toy group. An interim breed standard was published in 2018 allowing the breed to be exhibited in Imported Breed Register classes. From April of next year, the Russian Toy will be eligible for separate breed classes.
