Penelope Bann

Penelope Bann

Penny has been involved in Working Trials since 1993, working with German Shorthaired Pointers and Labradors as a competitor, judge, and tracklayer. She is secretary of the Essex Working Trials Society and ASPADS, and Trials Manager for the Essex 2000 Open and Championship Trials held each November. Nationally, she helped organise the 50th Kennel Club Working Trials Championships at Thoresby Park. Although she retired her Labrador Griffin last year and isn’t currently competing, she’s training a lively 8-month-old puppy with plans to return next summer. Penny also previously represented Essex 2000 on the old Working Trials Liaison Council and looks forward to working with the new council team.
