Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour (KCAI)

The Kennel Club Academy is an online learning resource for KCAI Scheme members.

This educational platform has been created to help KCAI members work towards their accreditation in a more structured and convenient way.

It reduces the need for much of the paper-based accreditation process and provides a simple, user-friendly way for members to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of key topics relating to dog training, instructing and canine behaviour.

There are nine KCAI online 'A' module assessments to complete. Following successful completion of the 'A' module assessments, you will be eligible to submit an application for accreditation and to book the practical assessment.

The practical assessment will offer you the opportunity to demonstrate teaching knowledge, skills and experience to achieve KCAI accreditation.

For ease of reference, below is a summary of the assessment criteria for seven of the nine 'A' module online assessments which have been approved to date.
