KCAI Significant Contribution award

The Kennel Club Accredited Instructors Scheme (KCAI Scheme) recognises and promotes dog training instructors, who are committed to and abide by, industry standards and codes of practice which have the welfare, care and needs of the dog at heart.

The KCAI Significant Contribution award acknowledges and celebrates KCAI Scheme member’s individual efforts and contributions to the world of dog training and the wider community.


2019 KCAI Significant Contribution award has launched!


We’re looking for dog training instructors who have gone above and beyond to support other members, contributed to the wider community through charity or volunteer work, worked to promote the schemes activity, and demonstrated their devotion to the development and progression of dog training.

 

Please note - to qualify, the member that you nominate must be:

  • a current member of the  Kennel Club Accredited Instructors Scheme 
  • one of the scheme’s Accredited Instructors or be a member working towards their accreditation

Nominations Criteria

Before you nominate your KCAI member, please consider the following criteria, which the judges will use to select the winner.

We are looking for members who have:

  • Provided support to other KCAI Scheme members
  • Contributed to the wider community (volunteer/charity work) 
  • Promoted the schemes activity 
  • Shown devotion to the development and progression of dog training

  • Nominations open: Thursday 5 December 2018
  • Nominations close: 12 noon, Friday 20 December 2018
  • Winner announced at Crufts 2020 on 8 March: timings and location to be confirmed
