Breed supported entry classes will improve open shows and assist in judge education, says Kennel Club
The Kennel Club has issued a reminder to breed clubs that, starting this year, they are each required to support classes for their breed at a minimum of two general or group open shows per year. Under the Judges Competency Framework (JCF) such classes will provide judges with valuable hands-on experience.

The Kennel Club Board, recognising the substantial support given by Members at the recent AGM to the proposal “that all aspects of the JCF’s planned phased introduction be put on hold whilst a complete assessment of the scheme is carried out by an independent review body”, has placed the planned implementation of the framework on immediate hold.
