Young Kennel Club Handling Training Day at Stoneleigh 2022

The training will offer an opportunity to practice and perfect your handling before Crufts 2022 where our experienced trainers can offer advice and some helpful hints and tips for the big day. There will also be a fun activity to break up the day.

This is a training event and will take place on the 30 January 2022 in The Kennel Club Building on the Stoneleigh showground which is indoors with a carpet floor. Please make sure you’re comfortable and wear appropriate footwear. You will not be required to wear “show suits” for the handling training.

Please note that lunch is not provided, but there will be cakes and hot drinks available to purchase. Car parking will be free.

Terms and conditions

  • Only dogs of four months of age and over will be allowed to take part in the training
  • Please take a lateral flow test the night before (parents and children) – do not attend if exhibiting COVID 19 symptoms or a positive lateral flow test result was produced
  • I/we agree to submit to and be bound by The Kennel Club Rules and Regulations in their present form or as they may be amended from time to time in relation to all canine matters with which the Kennel Club is concerned.
  • I/we also undertake to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the event and not to bring to the event any dog that has contracted or been knowingly exposed to any infectious or contagious disease during the 21 days prior to the Show.
  • I/we further declare that, I believe to the best of my knowledge that the dogs are not liable to disqualification under Kennel Club Show Regulations. I also have permission from the owner of any dogs I have entered to compete in the Young Kennel Club competitions at Crufts.
