First ever Veteran Warrant award goes to Newfoundland

A nine-year-old Newfoundland, Ch Zentaur Tee Tea Effen JW ShCM VW, belonging to Gary, Teresa, Faye and Elaine Coldwell of Redhill, Surrey is the first ever dog to be awarded the new Veteran Warrant (VW) title.

Breed supported entry classes will improve open shows and assist in judge education, says Kennel Club

The Kennel Club has issued a reminder to breed clubs that, starting this year, they are each required to support classes for their breed at a minimum of two general or group open shows per year. Under the Judges Competency Framework (JCF) such classes will provide judges with valuable hands-on experience.
Kennel Club launches #WHEREISYOURDOG campaign in response to rising livestock attacks

With the lambing season fast approaching, the Kennel Club has launched its #WHEREISYOURDOG campaign following evidence from North Wales Police which shows that approximately 90 per cent of livestock worrying incidents in the region are caused by unaccompanied dogs.
