Small/Mixi Pairs Winners Announced At Eukanuba Discover Dogs

Father and daughter duo, Alan and Selena Bray, with their dogs Upanova Dior Mine and Ag Ch Shanandi One and Only, won the Small/Mixi Pairs Final at Eukanuba Discover Dogs at ExCeL London on Saturday 17th October.

The Small/Mixi Pairs competition consists of eight heats of jumping. The competition is open to small dogs (35cm or under at the withers), partnering either a medium dog (over 35cm but 43cm or under at the withers) or a large dog (over 43cm in height), with heats scheduled as a special combined class for all grades of dog.

Alan Bray said of their win, "We are absolutely thrilled to have successfully defended our title from last year when Selena was running at 6 months pregnant. We love this event and so do all our dogs - they get really excited running in pairs, in front of the crowd. It's a great show - really well organised."

It was a double celebration for Alan as also came third in the competition with Louise Challis.

Handlers and dogs qualified to take part in the prestigious finals by gaining points at qualifying heats held at agility shows across the country during 2015.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said: "The Small/Mixi Pairs Finals is a fantastic competition and a highlight of the schedule every year. Congratulations to Alan and Selena and of course their dogs, Indianna and Shade, for a tremendous performance.

"Their result shows how agility can be enjoyed by the whole family and people of all ages."
