Owners of Kennel Club registered dogs will be able to get their
pet's eyes examined again this year at the CLA Game Fair at
Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, 18-20 July.
The canine eye tests are being offered as part of the British
Veterinary Association/Kennel Club/International Sheepdog Society
(BVA/KC/ISDS) Eye Test Scheme, and will take place at the Kennel
Club stand on all three days of the show and will work on an
appointment basis.
The testing is available for any breed and Kennel Club
registration certificates must be presented at the time of
testing.
Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary, said: "We are thrilled to
be able to offer canine eye testing at the CLA Game Fair again this
year and as the show is one of the highlights in the calendar for
many dog lovers, the eye testing always proves very popular.
"We are very lucky to have Professor Peter Bedford, one of the
UK's top veterinary ophthalmologists carrying out the eye tests
again, and this is a great opportunity for dog owners who may be
attending the Game Fair to have their much loved pets' eyes
tested.
Those wishing to book should email susan.sampson@thekennelclub.org.uk
at the earliest opportunity or visit Susan herself at the Kennel
Club stand at the CLA Game Fair.
Tests are priced at the BVA/KC/ISDS basic rate of £30 per dog for
the standard eye examination and £38 for Glaucoma testing.
