Crufts qualifiers head to Birmingham this weekend

Dog lovers are invited to come along to enjoy the experience of seeing over 11,500 dogs entered in the Ladies Kennel Association Championship Dog Show at the NEC, Birmingham this weekend.

More than 140 different breeds of pedigree dog will compete on 10th and 11th December for the ultimate 'Best in Show' prize and for a chance to take part in the world's largest dog show, Crufts.

The schedule

Each day will host different breeds of pedigree dog, which are divided into seven groups. On Saturday 10th December, visitors can see the Terrier, Gundog and Hound groups being judged, followed by the Toy, Utility, Pastoral and Working groups on Sunday 11th December. The seven group winners will then compete for the prestigious Best in Show award at the climax of the show on Sunday. Admission is £7 for adults and £4 for concessions on the door, making it the perfect day out for the whole family. Visitors are requested to leave their own dogs at home as non-competing dogs are not permitted into the event.
