Order
The Appeals Tribunal has considered the appeal from Miss Melanie Spavin from the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of 28 June 2018 (annexed).
Having reviewed the written submissions by Miss Melanie Spavin on appeal, as presented by Miss Spavin’s solicitors, and with agreement of Miss Spavin the Appeals Tribunal made the following order;
- The Appellant’s appeal that the penalties imposed by the Disciplinary Committee on 28 June 2018 are disproportionate is upheld.
- The Appeals Tribunal maintains the decision to censure Miss Spavin and warn her as to her future conduct.
- The decision of the Disciplinary Committee to disqualify Miss Spavin from exhibiting at, taking part in, attending and/or having any connection with any event licensed by the Kennel Club between 28 June 2018 and 11 March 2019 is revoked with immediate effect.
- The decision of the Disciplinary Committee to disqualify Miss Spavin from judging at any event licensed by the Kennel Club between 28 June 2018 and 11 March 2019 is revoked with immediate effect.
