A dog from Ely, Cambridgeshire has triumphed at Crufts by winning the Young Kennel Club (YKC) Stakes competition on Sunday 12th March for the second year in a row.
Pandora, a six-year-old Dalmatian (Champion Winflash Born To Be Wild JW), and her owner, 23-year-old Charlotte-Louise Page beat other talented young handlers and their dogs to be crowned the winner of the 2017 YKC Stakes Competition at the world’s greatest dog show.
Young Kennel Club Stakes classes were held at championship shows across the UK in 2016, where competition was fierce.
Delighted owner Charlotte-Louise said: “I can’t quite believe it. To have won once was amazing, let alone twice and for the second year running! I’m very lucky to have won under such a well-respected judge and can’t thank him enough for thinking so highly of Pandora.”
Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary, commented: “Congratulations to Pandora and Charlotte-Louise for their fantastic win – no doubt we’ll be seeing a lot of them in the future.”
