Find Out Who in Your Area is Competing at Crufts 2017

Will a dog from your area be named Best in Show at Crufts next month? Nearly 22,000 dogs from across the UK and the rest of the world are warming up to take their place at this year’s show, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 9th-12th March.

Much more than just a dog show, Crufts is packed full of events and competitions that celebrate the impressive talents of man’s best friend.

Scruffts, the family crossbreed competition, will return for a fifth year on Saturday 11th March; the winner of the inspirational Eukanuba Friends for Life dog hero competition will be announced on Sunday 12th March; and ever popular events including dog agility, flyball, obedience and heelwork to music will all be captivating audiences around the globe once more.

The world famous show will spend four action-packed days building up to the exhilarating moment when one dog will receive the prestigious title of Crufts Best in Show. This accolade will be awarded in the Genting Arena as the climax of the final evening on Sunday 12th March.

Around 160,000 people are expected to come through the doors of the NEC over the course of the four days. Animal lovers will come in their droves to meet thousands of dogs, watch live events, speak to breed and health experts, and shop at hundreds of trade stands over the course of the event.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said: “Crufts truly is the greatest dog show in the world. Thousands of dogs will be competing over four days in a variety of competitions including agility, grooming, heelwork to music, the heartwarming dog hero competition, Eukanuba Friends for Life, our fantastic family crossbreed competition, Scruffts, and last but not least, the prestigious Best in Show.
