Scottish Kennel Club To Hold Grooming Qualifier For Young Members At Dundee Canine Club

Young Kennel Club (YKC) members looking to compete in the YKC Groomer of the Year competition at Crufts are invited to enter the qualifier at Dundee Canine Club, Dundee on 4th June 2016.

The Scottish Kennel Club will be hosting the heat for the ever popular YKC Groomer of the Year competition for the chance to try and qualify for a place in the final at Crufts 2017.

Jane Fullbrook, Young Kennel Club Events Co-ordinator said: "This qualifier is a great opportunity for young groomers who dream of competing at Crufts one day, to show off their skills and meet like-minded individuals with a flair and passion for grooming."

The day costs £5 per YKC member, and members under 18 years old need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will not be charged to attend. Completion of an application form does not guarantee a place. The final places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. All applicants will be informed by email if they have secured a place. If the day is full, members may email the office to be added to the waiting list.
