Nominations close on TUESDAY 2 FEBRUARY 2018

Email to: ADCH@battersea.org.uk

To celebrate excellence in our field, the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) annually presents a ‘Special Recognition Award’ to recognise an individual who has delivered exceptional impact to dogs, cats and/or the companion animal sector.

We are looking for someone working nationally or internationally who fits one or more of the below criteria:

- An individual who has gone ‘Above and Beyond’ – done one incredible thing that is quite outstanding, perhaps an act of heroism or gone to extreme lengths to achieve something;

- An individual who has displayed considerable ‘Distinguished Service’ across the whole sector or to an individual organisation;

- That special someone who has ‘Changed or is Changing the Face of the Sector’ or ‘Tackling the Biggest Issues/Challenges’ - be it through innovation, a particular project or major initiative.

Your nominee does not need to be part of an ADCH member organisation. S/he could also be an influencer, a pioneer or a change-maker - (ie a campaigner, politician, official, vet, nurse, official or representative of another organisation etc). In other words, please feel free to nominate anyone you think is deserving of this ‘Special Recognition’ Award but please provide specific and relevant examples to clearly show what sets them apart from all others.

A special ADCH Judging Panel made up of members of the Management Committee will examine the nominations, determine who stands out for having achieved significant impact and who represents everything that is good about working in welfare.

There will be ONE winner only – no runners up, no highly commended.

 The Winner will be announced and invited to receive the Award at the ADCH & Petplan Animal Charities Awards Dinner at the ADCH Annual Conference in April 2018.

 The Nomination Form can be found here.

Please Note:

- Entries will only be accepted when submitted on this form

- You may nominate anyone working to benefit our sector, nationally or internationally.

- You do not need to know your nominee personally but you must be able to fully articulate their achievements.

- No entries will be accepted after the closing date of FRIDAY 2 FEBRUARY 2018.
