Fingal: Grey

Bran: Grey

What are your favourite characteristics in your dog?

Fingal: Most loveable giant with little brain but loved dearly.

Bran: She is a loveable teddy bear.

What makes your dog such a great animal?

Fingal: Gives unconditional love to everybody.

Bran: She always wishes to please.

What dog welfare issues do you think need tackling?

Fingal: Lack of training from owners.

Bran: Proper treatment of dogs and animals generally.

What role should training and socialisation play in a dog’s life and what is your top training tip?

Fingal: Absolutely essential. If not succeeding, try and try again.

Bran: Socialising and training is essential to ensure happiness. It is important to always reward never chastise.

Why should your dog be crowned Holyrood Dog of the Year 2018?

Fingal: Because he is the most beautiful dog who thinks he’s a human.

Bran: A completely rejuvenate rescue dog from very bad conditions but very loving
