ABS Seminar – Saturday, 13th January 2018

ABS Seminar – Saturday, 13th January 2018

The Assured Breeder Scheme aims to improve the health of dogs and increase welfare standards in dog breeding by promoting breeders who follow excellent breeding practice and by directing the puppy buying public towards those breeders who are doing their utmost to breed and raise healthy, well socialised puppies, and place them with responsible and caring owners.

Without the Scheme, puppy buyers have little way of knowing which breeders are adopting best practice. We hope that by encouraging more breeders onto the Scheme, we will give puppy buyers more confident in their choices and leave disreputable breeders more exposed.

Breeders nationwide are joining the Assured Breeder Scheme to demonstrate their commitment to responsible breeding.

We are hosting an Assured Breeder Scheme Seminar on Saturday, 13th January 2018 at the Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh, CV8 2LZ

The seminar is open to all – both existing members and those considering joining - and is an opportunity for like-minded breeders to develop their understanding of the ABS and contribute to its future.

The seminar will consist of a series of presentations from guest speakers on various aspects of breeding and on the Scheme itself, followed by specialist focus groups offering an opportunity to become directly involved in influencing the Scheme for the future.
