What is We Love Our Dogs?

We Love Our Dogs lets people join us in celebrating the diverse role that dogs play in society and in showcasing the loving relationship that they have with their owners through You Tube videos and photographs.

We Love Our Dogs is an opportunity for people to show their dogs as the well-rounded characters that they are – whatever their job or hobby might be. Some dogs are skilled working dogs, for example assistance dogs and police dogs; others have shiny coats, bright eyes and are a healthy weight and are rewarded for this in the show ring. For other dogs, their favourite hobby might simply be sleeping or enjoying a walk with their owner. But all dogs are ultimately pet dogs and we want to celebrate healthy, happy dogs, having fun with their owners.

If your dog does takes part in shows, or is an assistance dog, then why not contrast images of them before they bath, digging holes in the garden or emerging green with slime from that pond – in short having fun – with images of them enjoying their job or hobby?

Absolutely anybody can send their pictures and You Tube videos  in to be added to the Kennel Club’s YouTube channel and Flickr gallery, so that we can share you and your dog’s special moments with the world! You never know, your dog might even become an international star!
