Changes to Agility Regulations

25 October 2016    10:35

The General Committee has recently approved a number of changes to agility regulations, the Kennel Club has announced.

With effect from 1st January 2017, the following amendments to the regulations have been made:

Amendment to Regulation H(1)(B)1.c

The following amendment is made in order to address feedback relating to course walking where the lower height option is offered. In the interests of simplicity, both for competitors and show organisers, competitors should walk the course set at the height category into which their dog was measured.

H(1)(B)1.c

TO:

No practice is allowed on the course save that competitors will be allowed to walk the course set at the Small, Medium or Large height the dog is to negotiate, without their dog(s) before the class begins. Hurdles will may be raised/lowered during the course walking time if multiple heights are offered within the same class.

(Deletions struck through. Insertions underlined.)
