Willow, a Shetland Sheepdog and Karen Gibbons from Quedgeley,
Gloucester won the Kennel Club Medium Novice ABC (Anything But
Collies) Agility competition after battling it out against nine
other finalists at Crufts, the world's greatest dog show, on Friday
The competition returned to Crufts for the fourth time this year
and the final saw medium dogs in Grades 1-5 of agility, other than
Border Collies and Working Sheepdogs, competing to win. All of the
finalists competing had qualified at the semi-finals at Eukanuba
Discover Dogs in October 2015.
Proud owner Karen said: "It feels so amazing to win. Willow was
absolutely brilliant out there and did everything I asked of her
and more. Crufts is a fantastic show and there is nothing else
quite like it. It's unbelievable when you get out on that famous
green carpet in front of the crowd. It's really exciting to be here
in the 125th year. I love being here and I'm so proud of my

competition is a wonderful event, and it is fantastic to see all of
the different breeds competing in agility. It is such a great
sport, for both the dog and the owner.
"Willow and Karen's performance at Crufts was brilliant and they
worked very well as a team, which is crucial when competing in
