Field trials competitors are being encouraged to submit points gained through wins at Kennel Club field trials throughout the 2015/2016 season for the chance to win prestigious field trials annual trophy awards.
Competitors can claim points for first, second or third places at field trial championships and one day or two day stakes for the following trophies:
- The Routledge-Rank Retriever Perpetual Challenge Cup - for the owner of the retriever who gained the most field trial awards from the preceding season.
- The Hanlye Trophy - for the breeder of the dog which is awarded the Routledge-Rank cup from the preceding season.
- The Gavosie Gundog Trophy - for the lady Gundog handler who has gained the most points in field trials from the preceding season. Awards from Certificates of Merit to making up a Field Trial Champion are taken into account for the accolade.
To enter points, field trials competitors can download the claim form from the Kennel Club website and complete the points table.
Points must be submitted by 8th July 2016 to the Field Trials department, The Kennel Club, Clarges Street, London, W1J 8AB, or alternatively may be emailed to our gundogs team. Unfortunately late submissions will not be accepted.
The winners of the field trials annual trophy awards will be announced next month.
