ABC Agility Competitors Qualify For Crufts At Discover Dogs

Twenty dogs have qualified for the ABC Agility finals at the world's greatest dog event, Crufts.

The ABC semi-final for medium dogs and ABC semi-final for large novice dogs, held at the Kennel Club's Discover Dogs event at Earls Court on 9thNovember, saw ten dogs and their handlers qualify from each competition.

The semi-finals consisted of one round of agility and one round of jumping. The winners were those with the fewest combined faults in the fastest combined time, calculated over the two rounds of the semi-final. The medium competition is open to all agility grades and the large novice dogs had to be at grades 1-5 at the time of qualifying.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary, commented: "All of the dogs and their handlers did so well. It was a fiercely fought competition and the standards were very high. We look forward to welcoming the successful dogs and handlers to Crufts 2015."

3rd  -Nicola Wildman and Za Zar Zoom AW (G)

4th -Stephanie Spezia and Lupin David

5th- Karen Penman and Fire Flier

6th -Carol Jewell and Jack It In

7th- Gemma Haycock and Simply Red Roobs

8th- Ru Baker and Jenkim Royal Vintage AW (G)

9th -Helen Anderson and Dinky Demon of Downunder (Ag Ch)

10th- Karen Gibbons and Riverbend Mitzie AW (G)

1st -Gillian Mason and Notchlings Legend

2nd -Tracy Hunt and Katalin Nusa

3rd  -Tony Parmiter and Jetaime Elegance du Futur

4th -Sue Mosedale and Skinny When Wet Part Too

5th- Victoria Lyons and Jamedemi Molly Andromeda

6th -Elaine Sherwin and Penwest Phoebus At Tarnwalk AW (S)

7th- Joanne Sampson and Perdy's Little Miracle at Russetvalley

8th- Fiona Gavin and Cories Hot Tramp

9th -Tony Parmiter and Nightsabre Elara in Ebony

10th- Charlotte Harding and Jed Icandy
