11 June 2014    10:00

The following amendments to the Obedience 'G' Regulations have been recently approved by the General Committee and will come into effect on 1 January 2015.

Regulation G33.b Judges and Judging

Regulation G30.f.  Management will become Regulation G33.b Judges and Judging. Amending the Regulation in this way is designed to highlight and remind judges to observe all dogs in the ring. As well as a potential safety issue it is discourteous not to observe a competitor when they have paid for their entry and expect the judge's opinion, even when undertaking a practice round. The Regulation will also be slightly amended to state that the judge must be present in the ring when observing the dog.

b. One judge only may officiate for each Class (or each part of a divided Class) and must be presentin the ringand observe the dog at all times.
