The Kennel Club, the UK's largest organisation dedicated to the health and welfare of dogs, has announced a new three-year partnership with Eukanuba, the Kennel Club's partner in pet nutrition. As part of this renewed partnership, the Kennel Club and Eukanuba will support the UK's working gundogs and some of the most prestigious working gundog competitions in the country.

The programme includes support of the Kennel Club Cocker Spaniel Championship, the Kennel Club Gundog Working Test at Chatsworth and the Kennel Club's Gundog Training Days for Novice Handlers.

Rosemary Smart, Kennel Club Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted that Eukanuba has chosen to further support the UK's working gundogs with a new three-year partnership with the Kennel Club.

"Working gundog activities are becoming more and more popular in the UK, with many of the country's most fit and highly skilled working dogs competing at Kennel Club field trials and Championships.  As leading pet nutritionists, Eukanuba are the perfect partner to support these canine athletes that put their natural instincts to good use in the field and are kept happy and healthy through doing so.

"We are very excited to work together over the next three years and are looking forward to the positive impact that this will have on the UK's working gundogs and their owners."

Annaliese Reekie, Eukanuba UK Commercial Director, said: "Eukanuba sees working dogs as highly skilled, extraordinary athletes, and as such Eukanuba provides premium performance nutrition to keep hard working active dogs, at the top of their game."

"We have a long history of supporting working gundogs and are thrilled to be able to work with the Kennel Club for the next three years. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Cocker Spaniel Championship, the Kennel Club's Gundog Working Test and Gundog Training Days for Novice Handlers."
