Boost Your Dog Training Knowledge At KCAI Seminars

10 September 2013    09:00

The Kennel Club Accredited Instructors (KCAI) scheme is holding a series of educational events across the UK in partnership with Purina PRO PLAN, each featuring seminars from KCAI Preferred Educational Providers. The events will provide advice, education and resources to anyone involved in working with dogs or looking for a career in dogs.

With seminars from industry specialists, including Esther Rawlinson from Purina PRO PLAN and Jane Ardern from COAPE, the regional events are designed for KCAI members and non-members alike.

Each event features three seminars and there will also be the opportunity for non-members to learn more about the KCAI scheme and what it can do to support and enhance their business. Tickets for members are available for a discounted price of just £20, with places for non-members costing £40.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary, said: "The KCAI scheme gives instructors involved in dog training and advising on canine behaviour the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised, credible and externally verified qualification. Our partnership with Purina PRO PLAN further establishes our commitment to raising canine professional standards by delivering the best in education.

"From those who have worked in the dog training industry for many years to beginners looking to find out more, the regional events have something for everyone. The seminars cover a range of topics including canine nutrition and advice and tips on how to increase your influence as a trainer or behaviourist."

Judith Nicholson, Nestle Purina PetCare UK Recommendation Team Manager, said:  "Purina PRO PLAN is delighted to be working in partnership with the KCAI to deliver high quality education for canine professionals."
