Kennel Club wishes good luck to agility competitiors

The Kennel Club sends its best wishes to all the successful agility competitors who have qualified for the Kennel Club Olympia Agility Stakes semi-finals, which will be held from 30th August - 1st September as part of the City of Birmingham Championship show at Stoneleigh.

The country's most talented agility dogs and handlers have been vying with each other in qualifying heats at agility shows across the country throughout the season. The highest placed dogs in these heats will meet this weekend and compete for a place in the finals at Olympia itself. The Kennel Club Olympia Agility Stakes take place as part of the London International Horse Show, which will be held from 18th- 22nd December.

The Kennel Club Olympia Agility Stakes are held in association with GWF Nutrition, and will see dogs and their owners compete in five finals: the Small, Medium, Large, Novice and ABC (Anything But Collies) Agility Stakes. The Novice and Large Agility Stakes also feature a semi-final at the event, which will see the 36 qualifying dogs in each category whittled down to just ten who will go on to compete in their respective finals.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said: "All of the competitors heading to the Kennel Club Olympia Agility Stakes semi-finals have worked extremely hard to get there, and the countless hours and dedication have paid off. Well done to all the competitors who have already done so well to get this far and good luck for the competition ahead."
