Dog sharing

Dog sharing isn't necessarily ideal, and will only work if the dog in question is well socialised and trained properly. Both households would need to provide the same set of rules for the dog to ensure a routine is maintained, and that way the dog is more likely to settle in to both homes and feel more comfortable.

The main concern should always be the dog's welfare, and ideally a dog should have a single, stable family unit, which obviously isn't always possible for those who wish to own a dog but have a busy lifestyle, or those who travel for work a lot.
