CVS has long supported the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme
with 20% discount on health screening schemes. With the impending
compulsory microchip legislation, we have joined with CVS to offer
additional benefits exclusive to Assured Breeders:
- Microchipping for £9.99
- Vaccinations £15 per vaccine
- Continue with the 20% off breed health tests
Being the largest Veterinary Group in the UK with 242 surgeries,
CVS vets are delighted to support the excellent work of the Assured
Breeders. We are acutely aware how the breeders within the scheme
wish to promote good breeding practice, and as a breeder, you wish
to encourage the breeding of healthy, well-adjusted puppies and
ensure that you and your new owners are compliant with new
microchipping legislation. Our new offer also includes
discounted vaccinations so that your trip to the vets at 8 weeks
provides you and your puppy with the care and healthcare protection
that it needs to its future health. In addition, CVS continue to
support Assured Breeder owned dogs with a 20% discount of all breed
scheme related testing*. To benefit from these savings you will
need to show valid membership of the ABS at any CVS practice (ABS
active membership certificate). You will find details of your local
CVS practice by visiting http://www.cvsukltd.co.uk/our-practices.
Whilst all our groups are independently managed and retain the
same staff, we pride ourselves in ensuring all our practice meet
exceptional standards through the Royal College of Veterinary
Surgeons (RCVS). The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is a
voluntary initiative to accredit veterinary practices in the UK.
Through setting standards and carrying out regular inspections, the
Scheme aims to promote and maintain the highest standards of
veterinary care for Small Animal practices. The standards reflect
the requirements of a primary care practice, which also aims to
facilitate the achievement of high standards of clinical care.
Barry Brackner, spokesperson for CVS said 'We are delighted to
be able to offer our support in way of discounts to committed
breeders who have worked hard to improve their breed and meet the
high standards of the Assured Breeders'.
