Carmarthenshire County Council has recently gone out to
consultation with a questionnaire on proposed PSPOs. The
questionnaire is quite broad and seeks views from members of the
public about the need for dogs to be kept on leads, dog exclusions
from designated land (including sports pitches), and dog exclusion
from beaches. The Royal Borough of Kingston has recently been in
contact with KC Dog about a proposed PSPO on dog fouling.
Carmarthenshire County Council has recently
published a consultation questionnaire on proposed Public Space
Protection Orders. KC Dog will be responding to the consultation
and we have been invited to write to the Council with our views.
However we would urge local dog owners to respond to the
consultation which can be found at: http://ilocal.carmarthenshire.gov.uk/consultations/pspo/
The deadline for responses is May 5th.
The Royal Borough of Kingston is considering
going out to consultation on a proposal to make a Public Space
Protection Order on dog fouling on designated land across the
borough. At the moment the proposal appears non-contentious as it
relates solely to dog fouling. However KC Dog will be involved in
the consultation process and will keep members updated.
