Beastly Islington Exhibition

An Exhibition entitled "Beastly Islington", was held to celebrate the history of animals within the London Borough of Islington, an important part of which was Crufts. First held at the Royal Agricultural Hall in Islington in 1891, the exhibition featured Judges and Stewards badges together with some silver prize items from Crufts very early days. Ciara Farrell, Kennel Club Gallery and Collection Manager gave an illustrated talk on the 7th August entitled "Best In Show: Crufts at the Royal Agricultural Hall, you can see some photographs of the talk below:

The English Toy Spaniel Exhibition is still showing in the Gallery and will be up until the 9th January 2015. We are open by appointment to the public - please do call on 0207 518 1064 if you would like to come and see the Gallery, the Library or the Picture Library.
