Kennel Club Membership

The Membership of the Kennel Club consists of a maximum of 1500 UK Members plus 50 Overseas Members and a small number of Honorary and Honorary Life Members. Membership is open to both men and women. Members are proposed and seconded by current Members, but it is also possible for Associates of more than 5 years standing to apply for membership without a proposer and seconder. The final election of members is vested in the General Committee by ballot. Members are also provided with social facilities at the Kennel Club's head office in Mayfair where a club room and restaurant are available for members and rooms may be booked for meetings by Breed Clubs and Canine Societies.
