When you join Companion Dog Club, not only are you becoming a member you will also become part of a group of like-minded people who regularly meet, share news on their dogs and enjoy the excitement of taking part in Companion Dog Shows. Meetings are arranged by individuals at shows or via the online Special Interest Group (SIG) and make being a member more than just a membership pack.

Accident Emergency Cardaccident and emergency card
If the worst happens and you have an accident and are unable to return home to your dog, this card is a great way of ensuring someone else can go to your canine pal. By completing the card and keeping it with you at all times you can be safe in the knowledge that your dog will not be subjected to being left alone if you cannot get back.

 

CDC NewsletterNewsletter
The Companion Dog Club Newsletter is full of all the latest news from the Kennel Club including dog ownership issues, an events diary, competitions, hints and tips, special offers and loads more. This bi-annual newsletter also features a Canine Gallery with pictures of Members’ companions and friends.

 

Membership Certificatecertificate
The Companion Dog Club Membership Certificate welcomes you and your companion to the Kennel Club. It also includes your Companion Dog Club Membership Number, which is very important as this will be required when applying for exclusive special offers, competitions and entry to Companion Dog Club Classes.  

 

CDC SIGOnline Special Interest Group (SIG)
Members can access a dedicated area on the Companion Dog Club website providing them with up to date news, show dates, Member of the Month and special online offers.

 

 

 

Companion Dog Club members are also entitled to take out the Kennel Club Healthcare Plan. The Plan provides comprehensive cover for a competitive annual premium of just £18.95 per month. This annual policy offers peace of mind and generous benefits - for example, you can claim up to £10,000 per condition towards veterinary fees. That covers x-rays, prescriptions, surgery, hospital care and all veterinary fees including fees for complementary medicine if your vet has recommended it.
