Messages of thanks from organisations we have helped

The Kennel Club Charitable Trust is proud to be able to help make a difference for dogs, and this is only possible with the help of people like yourselves.

In 2010, the Charitable Trust donated almost £778,000 to 68 organisations and, to date this year, has already donated over £500,000 to 44 organisations.

Please see below some messages of thanks the Trust has received:-

We are delighted to be the recipients of a grant to assist towards the upgrading of our existing kennels, and many thanks for your continuing support.

Greyhound Awareness League (GAL)
Thank you for your grant to assist GAL with kennelling fees.  This will enable GAL to fund four spaces in commercial kennels for approximately three months and will directly contribute to saving the lives of dogs that would otherwise have been put to sleep.

Stokenchurch Dog Rescue
Our thanks to the KCCT for their most generous grant provided towards the cost of rebuilding our Isolation Block.  It is some years since we have been able to adequately isolate infectious dogs, and we hope that the new facility will enable us to continue with our re-homing programme without the need to close to the public.  Without the help of Charities such as yours, our task would be so much more difficult.

The Dachshund Breed Council
The Council wish to thank the KCCT for its continuing support of our Lafora Programme, and will further update the Trustees in six months.

The Mayhew Animal Home
I would like to say a huge thank you to the KCCT for its kind donation to fund the cost of our recovery kennels and to carry out vital repairs.  Thank you for your ongoing support.

The Canine Epilepsy Support Group
WOW.  Thank you so much for the grant in response to our application for funds.  One of our members was not renewing for financial reasons but, due to this grant, I have already been able to notify and retain her stating that, at no cost to herself, she will still receive the 24 hour telephone support if and when required. She was almost overcome and so very grateful.  Knowing we are here to help and support in times of trouble means a huge amount to the owners of epileptic dogs,
