Manchester Championship Dog Show Young Kennel Club Results
The Young Kennel Club had its own ring at the Manchester Dog Show, with qualifiers for DFS Crufts taking place in Handling, Grooming and Obedience.
The qualifiers, held at the Stafford Show Ground on 23rd and 24th January, offered a friendly but competitive atmosphere for the many 6-24 year olds in attendance to attempt to qualify for DFS Crufts, the world’s greatest dog show, held at the NEC in Birmingham from the 11-14th March.
Valerie Foss, Chairman of the Young Kennel Club and the Manchester Championship Dog Show, commented: “The committee provided YKC members with a fantastic indoor heated area for all of the competitions and everyone involved agreed that the weekend was a huge success.
“We’d like to thank the Manchester committee for their enthusiastic support of the YKC and the judges who helped us at the event, Mr John Waterfield, Miss Lucy Dixon, Miss Shannon Thomas and Miss Helen Taylor.”
