Kennel Club Breeders’ Symposium 2009 Invites All to Join Dog Health Debate

The Kennel Club’s Breeders’ Symposium is inviting dog breeders, experts and enthusiasts to come together to discuss topical issues and how advances in science could transform the future for healthy, happy dogs while marking its continued efforts and commitment to improve dog health.

The event will be held on Sunday 29th November at the Royal Veterinary College, Hertfordshire in conjunction with the Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association, and the Kennel Club is calling for anyone who has an interest in dogs to attend.

The Symposium will include discussions on topics such as patella luxation and cruciate ligament problems, developing DNA tests, cancer in dogs and canine dentistry issues. The discussions will be hosted by experts in their field and each presentation will be followed by an open Question and Answer session.

The Breeders’ Symposium costs £32.50 per person which includes morning refreshments, a buffet lunch and a delegate pack. The programme and the booking form are now available at http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/doghealth/.
