RESULTS from the 2011 European Open Championships held at SVÖ Bad Hall near Salzburg, Austria, on 29-31 July 2011, are on the official European Open 2011 website results.The squad for Team GB at the 2011 European Open Championships was published following the Team Selection Day trials held at the Lincoln Agility Enthusiasts Open Agility Show at the Lincolnshire Showground. 
 

Qualifying for the 2012 European Open Team GB
The qualification process for the 2012 Team GB will be on similar lines to the system for the 2011 European Open. A list of dates and venues of ranking events is given below.

The system of ranking events to be held during 2011 to qualify dogs from England for selection for the European Open 2012 will be similar to that used in the previous year. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own selection procedures to choose dogs attending the Team Selection day. 

Ranking events are standard Combined Grades 6 and 7 Agility classes held at designated Kennel Club licensed Open and Championship Agility Shows, which competitors enter and compete in as normal. EO ranking points are given for the top ten places. i.e. 10 points for 1st place down to 1 point for 10th place. The top ten places always count in all height categories, regardless of whether the show concerned awards rosettes up to 10th place.

There are ranking events for all heights of dog (although some shows only have ranking events for one or two heights) and the qualifiers are open to all Kennel Club registered  dogs, pedigree and non-pedigree, which are eligible for Grades 6 or 7. This selection process applies to competitors from England only, therefore only competitors in the top ten who are resident in England are able to score points based on their position at each ranking event.

Handlers and dogs from England with the highest qualifying points were invited to the Team GB Selection Day, held on Saturday 16 April 2011 at the Lincoln Agility Enthusiasts Open Agility Show at the Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln LN2 2NA. Scotland and Wales had their own separate selection processes
