The Kennel Club Breeders’ Competition - Crufts Final 2012

The Grand Final of the Kennel Club Breeders' Competition takes place in the Main Arena on Friday, 9th March 2012.

Awards on offer: Best Breeder & Reserve Best Breeder
All qualified finalists will be pre-judged in Rings 1 and 2 in Hall 1 on Friday, 9th March 2012.
Pre-Judging will begin at 2.30 pm and finalists need not arrive until 1.30 pm. The Final will be held in the Main Arena at 5.50 pm.
This year's finalists will be made up of the highest scoring breeders who have achieved in excess of 25 points at Championship Shows throughout 2011.
Breeders should forward a copy of their Record Book to the Canine Activities Department at the Kennel Club by Monday, 9th January 2012, which will advise whether they have qualified for the Crufts Final. A copy or the Record Book must accompany the claim.
The following Rules apply for competing in the Breeders' Competition at Crufts 2012:
• The Breeder's team must comprise of three or four exhibits of the same breed and must have one handler per dog.
• All dogs must have the same registered breeder or breeder partnership.
• The 'beaten dog' rule will NOT apply.
Note: The dogs need not be qualified for or entered in the main breed competition at Crufts 2012. In addition to this it is not a requirement for you to nominate the same dogs as were exhibited whilst qualifying.

In the countdown to the Breeders’ Competition final, to be staged at Crufts 2012, Our Dogs is publishing a Competition leader board on a monthly basis on its website www.ourdogs.co.uk/kcbreeders.
