Thousands of top dogs are set to converge on Windsor from 2^nd to 5^th July as the Windsor Dog Show Society holds its annual Championship Dog Show at Home Park. The four day show will see local dogs go head to head against other leading canine figures from across the country and beyond to try to win a coveted Champion title.

This year the show has attracted a bumper entry of dogs, all competing for the highly coveted ‘Best in Show’ award. The successful class winners will qualify to compete at Crufts, the greatest dog show in the world, which will be held from 11^th to 14^th March 2010 at the NEC, Birmingham.

Only the healthiest, happiest dogs will win through to Crufts, as judges select the dogs which demonstrate the ideal characteristics, temperament and appearance of each breed. They will ensure that the dogs are fit for the function for which they were originally bred, or that which suits it best nowadays, even if this is simply to be a loved family pet.

Visitors are warmly welcomed at the event as there is always plenty to see and do. From watching the judges make their difficult decisions, to seeing the champion dogs first-hand. There will also be several trade stands at the show which will sell a variety of gifts for dogs and people alike.

The Kennel Club Roadshow will also be at the show enabling visitors to talk to a friendly Kennel Club representative and find out more about all that the Kennel Club can offer.

Admission to the show is £3 for adults. Children under 14 and concessions are £1. Car Parking is available at £5 per day in the Exhibitors/Public Car Park. Please follow the temporary signs to the Show Ground.
