The Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour

A mentoring workshop and regional meeting for the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training & Canine Behaviour (KCAI) is to be held in Milton Keynes on Friday 21st November.

The mentoring workshop takes place from 2pm to 5pm, and is for KCAI Members who are working through the scheme and may need help or advice. The open regional meeting will follow from 7pm to 10pm and is aimed at all existing and prospective members.

The venue is Odin Canine Services, Bacon House Farm, Warren Road, Little Horwood, Milton Keynes, MK17 0PS.

This is a great opportunity for both members and anyone interested in the scheme to meet and gain a further insight into the KCAI initiative. Being first and foremost a membership scheme, the benefits are numerous:

  • Membership is ‘inclusive’. All are welcome; all who share a passion for dogs and their training, and those that are enthusiastic to help others achieve, and live in harmony with their dogs.
  • It registers members as part of a professional network.  The scheme is already helping members to communicate, both within and across disciplines.
  • Every member is valued for both their practical involvement within specific activities, and for their overall knowledge of dogs and the canine world.

To find out more, make sure you come along and discover how you can help us to raise standards, and how you can achieve this prestigious award for yourself. It is a free meeting and all are welcome, but places are limited, so people are asked to let us know if they plan to attend.

To confirm a place, and for more information on the scheme, please contact the Canine Activities department at the Kennel Club on 0844 463 3980 ext. 277 or email dorothy.mcintyre@thekennelclub.org.uk.
