Discover Dogs 8th and 9th November 2008 at Earls Court 2, London

Show opening times: 10.00 - 17.00 each day

Discover Dogs began in 1996 and has now become one of the must-sees in the canine calendar. It is a fantastic experience and one that can't be missed by any dog lovers. The most popular attraction of the event is, of course, the dogs and the Kennel Club is showcasing nearly 190 pedigree dog breeds at this year's Discover Dogs. With each example of the breed, visitors will find experienced and knowledgeable owners who provide essential advice on dog training, dog health, what to look for in a pedigree puppy and what to ask a dog breeder.

Young Kennel Club at Discover Dogs

Young Kennel Club Senior members manage the YKC Ring in association with Companion Dog Club Classes over both days. The ring has a mixture of YKC Competitions and Companion Dog Club Classes. 

At this year's show the YKC will be holding the following competitions over both days:

YKC Handling Crufts Qualifier (for dogs not on the Kennel Club breed register)

Earls Court Directions

Earls Court is located alongside the A4 West Cromwell Road and just across from Earls Court Underground Station on the District, Circle and Piccadilly Lines.

Travelling to Earls Court

By rail and tube:
West Brompton station offers mainline rail services operated by Silverlink Metro and Southern which run direct from Clapham Junction. District Line services run to Victoria, Paddington and beyond. Earls Court station also provides Piccadilly Line services to Kings Cross.

By road:
From the West and M25 take the A4 Great West Road to West Cromwell Road and follow signs for Earls Court. From the A3/M3 follow signs for central London and from Wandsworth Bridge turn left onto New Kings Road, turn right onto Fulham High Street, which becomes Fulham Palace Road, turn right onto Lillie Road and follow signs.

The Discover Dogs 2008 Ticket Office will be open from August 2008.

Discover Dogs is a busy stimulating environment that might prove stressful to pet dogs unaccustomed to such events. Therefore NO DOGS other than those that have been invited by the Kennel Club will be permitted into the show.
