International Agility Festival 2008 - General Information
Show opening times
- opens at 7.45am
- briefing at 8.15am
- judging from 8.30am
Kennel Club register requirement
To be eligible to compete, dogs must be registered on one of the Kennel Clubs registers, the Breed register or the Activity register (this register is open to both pedigrees and non-pedigrees).
International travel
Anyone from outside the UK who would like to compete can obtain guidance from the UK government at www.defra.gov.uk. Overseas competitors must apply to the Kennel Club for an Authority to Compete.
Crufts qualifier classes
- Kennel Club Starters Cup
- Kennel Club Novice Cup
- Kennel Club British Open
- YKC jumping semi-final (final held at Crufts).
- YKC Agility Dog of the Year
Class entry fees
- Novice Cup, Starters Cup and International Young Handler of the Year - £5.40 per dog
- All other classes - £2.70 per dog
Dog showing age restriction
Puppies under 18 months of age on the first day of the show are not eligible to compete at Kennel Club licensed Agility shows.

FREE (£5 parking charge per car)

Camping
Dog owners will be welcome to camp on the showground from 10am on Thursday 7th August until 10am on Monday 11th August 2008 at a fee of £30 per unit for the duration of the show. Camping spaces will be limited.

Why not follow your visit to the Kennel Club International Agility Festival by a week at the Dogs In Need Agility Charity Week Show, which will take place at Ipswich (87 miles from Peterborough) from 12th to 17th August 2008.
