What is Grooming?

Grooming is the general term given to all aspects of coat and skin care required by animals and in this instance dogs.  It can include bathing, brushing, clipping, hand stripping and styling.

It is a necessary part of all dog care and can become a highly skilled professional career, with many of the top groomers achieving recognition and credit within the dog world in general.

Competitions

There is one grooming competition held at Crufts, YKC Groomer of the Year.
